青少年舞龍隊

The CCACC Youth Dragon Dance Team has been performing in Maryland and Washington DC area for over a decade. Comprised of vibrant high/middle school students from Montgomery County, the team's performances have been warmly welcomed by the local community. The dragon, symbolizing ancient Chinese culture, is believed to bring blessings and good fortune. Guided by rhythmic drumming and the dragon's orb, performers showcase the majestic dragon with graceful movements and dynamic poses, embodying vitality and vigor. Participation in dragon dance significantly enhances students' and the community's appreciation of Chinese traditional culture, while also fostering teamwork among youth and enriching their volunteer experiences serving the community.

In recent years, the appearance of the Dragon Team in events showcasing Chinese culture has always been the most eye-catching performance group on the stage. To further develop and strengthen the Dragon Team, we are recruiting more youth participants. Students who are interested are welcome to join the Dragon Team. Volunteers participating in Dragon Team activities will receive corresponding SSL volunteer service hours. Details are as follows:
